Year 2009

This year has been the hardest part of living. After graduation and passing the board exam last year, I have been forced to enter into the real world. Adult life as I say. At first I was excited to begin working in PAL. I didn't even know what I applied for. "Systems Support Associate" sounded so foreign to me but I jumped into it without hesitation. What the heck, it's PAL e. Who would turn their back on one of the most prestigious companies in the Philippines? Philippine Airlines, the flag carrier.

This year was an eye opener for me.
In all the time I was in school, I never imagined what I would be like when I grow up. I never thought about money, more so about business. When I got to experience working the first time, things that I never thought would bother me came into focus. I immediately mapped out my future. I researched on possible business opportunities, I read on books to empower the mind. But all of these things, I did with my mind. Not a lot of action being done. At first I gave myself a year before I decide on to the next step. Right when I started shifting schedule did I also start to enjoy my work, somehow, little by little. When I started being a reliever, I enjoyed it more, mostly because of the people I was able to bond with, the other duty officers. I'm very thankful of the people that I got to know. Despite all the stress. (I look so much older now that before I started working...so much!) Despite the 3-hour commute and the jampacked MRT. When I get back to my 8-5 shift in mid February, I know I'll be complaining again. Another reason why I love shifting is because I get to evade the rush hour. I get to hitch a ride with manny, or be hatid by my father to work in the morning. I kinda like it better not seeing a lot of people in the office. Soon I'll be working graveyard straight and I'm still a bit scared of that. Up until now, I still believe that this is not the right job for me. But up until now, I still believe that this has a purpose. I am here to learn a lot of things. I started out with so much fear and inferiority complex. But right now, I'm slowly putting everything behind. I'm starting to get comfortable and open.... Career wise, somehow, I feel comfortable to stay in this field for a while and shift to another (maybe to teaching, my first love) with the business that I invested in. Me and Manny bought a condo unit near the airport. It's very expensive and it makes our pockets empty. It even adds up to heated conversations between us. Despite it all, I'm happy with the decision of owning one to be able to gain passive income someday. I plan to buy one more. How to find the money to buy one? That I'm not yet too sure about. I'm not the go-getter, assertive, confident type. I just grab on to opportunity when it is there. I need to learn a lot. A lot more.

Year 2009 major changes include:
-WORK at PAL
-Fitness First
-Condo unit at Newport City
-New cellphone line-Smart
-Money for my own budget
-Change of heart
-New views, changing views

Year 2009 ends. CPC organizing ISD party, partying, bonding with friends and a roller coaster love life. I'm scared. I'm happy. I'm confused. It's all because of Lindon and Manny. *sigh* It is so hard it bothers me so much. And I can't go on typing anymore because of the headache it will give me to try to explain myself. All I know is that I'm happy, and I'm sad, and I need help.

I with 2010 to be a better year for me.

*a dumb post...can't even think straight..just typing away..no good vocabulary words..
It's 24 and I even forgot that it's our day...*SIGH*
