Poem: May I

Thank you Lord
For the splendid things
For the great things that happen
May I be able to keep my head straight
And keep my heart guided
May I be able to love and bless and guide the people I am destined to touch
May I be a blessing to Manny in ways that I myself can not know how
May I stop trying to control things
May I trust You more and love You more
Lord, may I live each day with meaning and purpose

How do I do that Lord?
How do I love Thee?
What am I doing?

Questions after questions
Feel good?
Feelings can be deceiving
But it can also move mountains

Where am I?
How about a decision?
To be truly happy.
Contentment.
Gratitude.
